These arrangements have a two-fold purpose in my life. They bring a bit of the beauty of nature into my home, but they also make me go out and look for beauty. Although I have studied ikebana, the true inspiration for these works comes from the beauty in my yard, in the parks I visit, on the trails I hike, and along the rivers I kayak. By designing pots that work with flowers and not compete with them, I strive to create arrangements that are seasonal and timeless, yet always ephemeral.
